Want to help advocate to improve and increase physical education in the Poudre School District? Here are some ways you can help:

  1.  If you’re a parent with children in school, tell them you want your child to receive more   physical education and activity while at school.  Encourage them not to reduce or eliminate P.E. when looking at future budget cuts.

  2.  Email or write a letter to our school board members letting them know you support physical education and activity in schools.  Encourage them to include funding on the 2010 Mill/Bond Levy to support P.E. Click here for contact information for school board members:  www.psdschools.org/psdinfo/boardofeducation/directors.aspx

  3.  Speak at a school board meeting about the need to increase and improve physical education in schools.  The meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 pm at the PSD administration building - 2407 W. Laporte Ave.

  4.  Submit a letter to the editor expressing your support for physical education and activity in schools.  Letters must be 250 words or less and sent to:  opinion@coloradoan.com
